Who Am I?

I am the author of the “Chitown My Sound” blog. Not only will I be keeping you updated with the latest upcoming HipHop/Rap artists here in Chicago, but I will also be adding additional facts about how the artists were exposed, shows, trends, etc. 

Now’s the time to tell you..

I’m Loretta Mars! I am also a HipHop/Rap artist from Michigan residing here in Chicago. I’ve been here for almost 3 years attending college full time studying Audio Production at the Art Institute. This blog connects with me in everyday possible because I love knowing what’s going on and if you agree, then this could be beneficial to you as well. I love the foundation of music itself. I love how I feel when I’m inspired which brings me to this position. I get to write about people like myself and be aware. I find it fascinating discovering artist with unique art and talent. I plan to release a project I’ve been working on since I moved to Chicago entitled “#ForeverLoretta” containing nothing but soulful instrumentation and lyrical content. I don’t have an exact release date but It’s definitely this Fall of 2014! I also have a website you can check out www.loretta-mars.com for any updates about my music.
